AI-native quality assurance
Founded in 2016 by former software engineers Ryo Chikazawa and Sam Yamashita, Autify set out to fix the most labor-intensive part of shipping software: testing. The San Francisco-headquartered company (with deep roots in Japan) began with no-code test automation and has evolved into a suite of autonomous QA agents.
Product suite
Autify Aximo is the flagship autonomous AI testing agent: it uses natural language and visual recognition to generate and execute end-to-end tests across web, mobile, and desktop applications with no scripting. Autify Genesis applies GenAI to the front of the QA process, turning product requirements into structured test cases and test code. Autify Mobile covers no-code mobile test automation, and Autify Nexus provides test management. Because tests are maintained by AI as the UI changes, teams dramatically cut the upkeep burden that kills most automation efforts — one customer reduced test authoring time by 95%.
Funding and traction
Autify has raised about $30M ($24M equity, $6M debt), including a $13M Series B in June 2024 led by Globis Capital Partners and LG Technology Ventures, with Salesforce Ventures and World Innovation Lab participating. The Series B accompanied the launch of its autonomous QA agent line, positioning Autify in the emerging "AI QA engineer" category.
