Amperos Health is a healthcare AI company building an autonomous, AI-native platform for denial management and revenue cycle recovery, led by CEO and co-founder Michal Miernowski. The company targets one of healthcare's largest sources of waste: the more than $260 billion problem of denied and underpaid insurance claims that providers struggle to recover with manual back-office staff.

Amperos describes its product as a digital workforce of AI agents that manage denials and claims end to end. The agents follow up through insurance payer portals and over the phone, submit corrected claims, attach the necessary medical records, and file appeals, automating a workflow that traditionally requires large teams of revenue cycle specialists making repetitive calls and data entry.

The platform has scaled to serve over 3,000 clinical locations across all 50 states and, according to the company, drives nearly $700 million in recovered revenue per year across more than 500,000 claims. Amperos has also signaled plans to expand into adjacent revenue cycle steps such as prior authorization and insurance verification.

In April 2026 Amperos Health closed a $16 million Series A led by Bessemer Venture Partners, with participation from Uncork Capital and Neo, following a $4.2 million seed round in June 2025. The company is using the funding to launch and scale what it calls the industry's first AI-native denial management and revenue recovery platform.
