Vibrant Planet is a data-driven decision-support platform for wildfire and landscape resilience. It helps communities, utilities, and land-management agencies understand where wildfire risk exists and prioritize the mitigation work that will most reduce danger to people and infrastructure, replacing slow, manual planning with science-based modeling.
Key capabilities
Using Pyrologix fire-science technology, the platform models the full spectrum of risk, from potential ignition sites to fire pathways to individual structures, and maps where interventions will have the greatest impact. It supports building prioritized, specific mitigation plans, offers fire models as standalone data products, and provides utility-focused tools for vegetation management, inspection budgeting, and regulatory compliance.
Who it's for
Vibrant Planet serves community protection agencies such as fire districts and counties, utility companies managing grid and infrastructure risk, and land-management and state forestry agencies. CAL FIRE has deployed the platform statewide to support wildfire planning across California.
