What TENEX.AI Does

TENEX.AI is an AI-native cybersecurity firm providing managed detection and response (MDR). Its platform uses domain-specific AI to automatically triage, investigate, and prioritize security alerts in under a minute, while keeping human analysts in charge of strategic decisions, a model the company describes as "human-led, AI-native." TENEX advertises capabilities such as 10x faster detection and 100% alert coverage, and it is a launch partner for Google AI Threat Defense, building on deep roots in Google's Chronicle SecOps stack.

Funding & Background

TENEX.AI was founded in 2024 and launched its managed services in January 2025. It is led by CEO Eric Foster (former president of CYDERES and a multi-time CISO), with co-founders Ryan Shreve (COO) and Edwin Solis (CRO, former head of security sales for Google Cloud Security); CTO Venkata Koppaka was a founding engineer of the core Chronicle SecOps stack. Headquartered in Sarasota, Florida, TENEX raised a $27M Series A that included Crosspoint Capital, Andreessen Horowitz, the Florida Opportunity Fund, and DeepWork Capital, and has since expanded with additional backing from DTCP to support EMEA growth.
