Runloop is an AI agent infrastructure company that gives developers secure, cloud-hosted development environments called Devboxes where coding agents can safely write, run and test code. Beyond sandboxing, Runloop offers benchmarking and evaluation tooling to measure agent performance against industry standards, plus managed infrastructure to deploy agents at scale with observability. Founded in 2024 by ex-Stripe and Google engineers, including CEO Jonathan Wall (co-founder of Google Wallet and Index, acquired by Stripe), the company targets enterprises operationalizing autonomous software engineering. Runloop raised a $7M seed round led by The General Partnership in July 2025, with participation from Blank Ventures, Exponent Founders Capital and Nascent.
