Patagon AI is an Argentinian startup building generative AI agents that act as sales development reps, account managers, and post-sale assistants across the customer lifecycle. The agents engage and qualify leads, run follow-ups, schedule meetings, and only hand off to humans when the conversation actually requires one — a design tuned for LatAm sales motions where WhatsApp is the dominant channel.

The platform is built around channels that matter in Latin America: WhatsApp, Instagram DMs, web chat, email, and voice. Patagon's agents speak Spanish and Portuguese natively, handle local slang and regional variants, and integrate with the CRMs and customer data systems enterprises already run.

Founded in 2024, Patagon AI reports serving more than 100 enterprise customers across 15 LatAm countries, with concentrations in automotive, real estate, insurance, and healthcare. The company says its agents deliver roughly 3x conversion versus traditional outbound, and that some customers have seen up to 400% sales lift after deployment.

In November 2025 Patagon closed a $2.7M seed round led by Spain's Kfund, with participation from 17Sigma and OneVC, bringing total funding to about $3.85M after an earlier $1.1M pre-seed in 2024. The team of around 25 is based primarily in Buenos Aires and São Paulo and is hiring across engineering and go-to-market.

Patagon's bet is that horizontal US-built sales AI products will not be enough in LatAm, where conversation flows, channels, and buyer behaviour differ significantly. Its differentiation is regional fluency plus enterprise-grade integration — but it also faces a crowded field of LatAm conversational AI startups chasing the same WhatsApp opportunity.
