Founded in 2023 by John Hoctor, Matthew Emans, and Steven Bennett, who previously built and sold Integral Reach and TV-analytics firm Data Plus Math (acquired by LiveRamp for $150M), Newton raised a $9M oversubscribed Series A in August 2025 co-led by Greycroft and Bessemer Venture Partners, with S4S Ventures, LiveRamp Ventures, and Aperiam Ventures participating, bringing total funding to over $14M.
