What Maywood does

Maywood is an AI platform that automates deal execution for investment banks, built to operate continuously across a deal team's network, pipeline, and active processes. Rather than waiting for prompts, the proactive AI runs in the background, surfacing relationship signals, pipeline changes, and process risks that bankers might otherwise miss. It is part of Y Combinator's Winter 2026 batch.

Key capabilities

Maywood tracks relationships and sector context to flag when a target may be preparing for a process, and drafts outreach in the user's voice. It monitors network activity across sources such as LinkedIn, news, and conference follow-ups, auto-updates CRMs and trackers, and assembles meeting briefs combining relationship history, recent activity, deal context, and external research. It is built to FINRA and SEC requirements, keeping actions autonomous within scope while routing every external send through explicit human approval.

Who it's for

The AI finance tool is aimed at investment banking deal teams that want to remove execution bottlenecks and spend more time on judgment than on mechanics.
