Liberate Innovations develops AI agents purpose-built for the insurance industry, automating the manual, repetitive work that bogs down carriers and agencies. The company started with voice AI, widely considered the most complex and most valuable channel in insurance, and has since expanded into full end-to-end workflow automation.
Liberate's System of Action automates sales, service and claims workflows from start to finish, enabling insurers to grow revenue while meaningfully reducing operating costs. The company reports that customers can boost revenue by over 10% while cutting operating costs by 25% or more.
Over the past year, Liberate scaled dramatically, from 10,000 monthly automations to roughly 1.3 million automated resolutions, demonstrating rapid adoption of its reasoning AI agents across carriers.
The company raised a $50 million Series B led by Battery Ventures, with participation from new investor Canapi Ventures and returning backers Redpoint Ventures, Eclipse Ventures and Commerce Ventures. The all-equity round valued the three-year-old startup at $300 million post-money and brought total funding to $72 million. Battery General Partner Marcus Ryu, co-founder and former CEO of Guidewire Software, joined Liberate's board.
