Korso is building the intelligence layer for manufacturing, a system of AI agents that absorbs the operational coordination work that still consumes most of a plants office hours. Instead of yet another dashboard sitting on top of the ERP, Korso plugs into the systems manufacturers already use, SAP, NetSuite, Oracle, Dynamics 365, and Odoo, and acts as a tireless coordinator across RFQs, quotes, suppliers, customers, and the shop floor.
Its agents triage incoming requests for quotes, chase quotes that suppliers have not returned, follow up with customers on outstanding approvals, notify stakeholders when production slips, and escalate to a human when judgement is required. Because enterprise manufacturing systems cannot tolerate hallucinated POs or silent failures, every agent action runs through verification layers, tools are tightly scoped to the relevant module, and critical operations go through dry run validation and secondary review. A complete audit trail records what each agent did, why, and when, which is essential for ISO and customer audits.
Founded in 2026 by Daichi Hiraoka, Alex Liu, and Martin Pan, who previously built automations at General Motors, Korso is based in San Francisco and went through Y Combinator P26. The team comes from a manufacturing background and is selling directly to mid market and enterprise manufacturers that are drowning in email and spreadsheet coordination but cannot rip and replace their core ERP.
