Klarify is an AI native operating system for mental health practices, built around an agent named Klara that handles every job a therapist does other than the therapy itself. From the moment a session starts, Klara listens, structures the conversation into a compliant clinical note, drafts a treatment plan update, and queues any follow up resources the clinician wants the client to receive between sessions. After the call, she prepares insurance claims, supervision summaries, and clinical letters so the practitioner can close out the day in minutes instead of hours.
Administrative overhead is one of the leading causes of burnout in mental health, and Klarify is designed to give clinicians their evenings and weekends back. Beyond documentation, Klara also helps grow the practice by writing intake content, surfacing new client opportunities, and keeping marketing assets current. Because every artifact she produces is reviewed by the therapist before it leaves the platform, the human remains in full control of the clinical record while the busywork disappears into the background.
Founded in 2024 by Moody Abdul and Alexander Bergholm, Klarify is based in the San Francisco Bay Area and is part of Y Combinator P26. Moody previously co founded Circleback.ai, an AI meeting notes product, and Bergie built LLM infrastructure at Workday, giving the team rare depth in both clinician workflow and large model deployment. Roughly six thousand therapists already rely on Klarify today.
