Kana (Kana Intelligence) builds a suite of flexible AI agents purpose-built for marketing operations. The agents perform data analysis, audience targeting, campaign management, customer engagement, media planning, and optimization of brand presence in AI chatbots, integrating with a company's existing marketing software rather than replacing it. Kana was incubated inside startup studio super{set} and emerged from stealth in early 2026 with a $15M seed round led by Mayfield, with managing partner Navin Chaddha joining the board. The company was founded by serial martech entrepreneurs Tom Chavez (CEO) and Vivek Vaidya (CTO), whose prior ventures Rapt and Krux were acquired by Microsoft and Salesforce respectively.
