HrdWyr is a Bengaluru-based full-stack fabless semiconductor startup building end-to-end AI-native system-on-chip (AISoC) products. Its architecture is designed for Physical AI applications where compute happens at the source of data generation rather than in a remote cloud.
How It Works
HrdWyr designs system-on-chip hardware optimized for AI inference at the edge — EVs, consumer electronics, industrial automation, smart appliances, and data center infrastructure. The chips support real-time decisions in environments where cloud round-trips are too slow or expensive, with the full stack designed in-house from architecture through software enablement.
Founders and Team
HrdWyr was founded in 2023 by industry veterans Ramamurthy Sivakumar and Guruswamy Ganesh, both with deep backgrounds in semiconductor and systems engineering. The company is headquartered in Bengaluru, India.
Funding and Traction
In May 2026 HrdWyr closed a $13M Series A led by Ideaspring Capital, with participation from Singularity AMC, Avatar Growth Capital, and existing investor Persistent Systems. The company has already partnered with consumer electronics brand boAt, an early commercial validation point for its Physical AI thesis.
Differentiators
HrdWyr is one of a small number of Indian fabless semiconductor startups taking on Physical AI compute, an emerging segment dominated globally by US players like NVIDIA's edge group and a handful of Israeli and Chinese vendors. New capital is being used to accelerate AISoC development and engage global customers.
