Embedder builds an AI coding agent designed to write, test, and debug firmware on real hardware. By understanding and interacting directly with hardware, it automates component bring-up through driver generation, datasheet-aware AI agents, and interactive component viewers, addressing the bottleneck of repetitive manual work in embedded engineering. Users can upload datasheets, chat with agents, and generate production-level driver code in seconds, with a roadmap to give agents direct access to flash, test, and debug hardware in real time. Founded in 2025 by University of Michigan alumni, Embedder was part of YC's Summer 2025 batch.
