Elyra is an AI reservation system purpose-built for restaurants, replacing missed phone calls and slow email replies with always-on voice and email agents that book, modify, and confirm reservations in real time. The company cites a stark problem: independent restaurants miss roughly 40 percent of incoming calls and lose more than 100,000 dollars a year in bookings that simply never reach a human host.

The platform combines a voice agent that answers every guest call, an email concierge that handles confirmations and special requests, and a smart table allocation engine that optimizes seating across reservations and walk-ins. A guest intelligence layer builds profiles using menu preferences, booking history, and service style, while analytics and campaign tools help operators track performance and re-engage diners. Early customers, including Shuffle Group, ESS Group, Kasai, OLearys Group, Cheri-lee, and The Kitchin, report a 92.4 percent guest satisfaction score with a 12 percentage point improvement since switching.

Founded by Felix Odeberg Glasenapp, who studied Engineering Physics at KTH, and Alan Mando, who studied Business at WU Vienna, the two met in primary school in Stockholm and have collaborated on multiple projects since. Elyra is part of the Y Combinator Spring 2026 batch, headquartered in the San Francisco Bay Area, and targeting an addressable market of more than one million restaurants across the US and Europe.
