DataSnipper is a Dutch intelligent automation platform delivered as a Microsoft Excel add-in plus browser-based modules, built for external audit, internal audit, tax and financial control teams. It extracts data from PDFs, scanned forms, invoices and contracts, cross-references that evidence against Excel workbooks, and documents the match so the audit trail is preserved. Its AI layer includes Excel Agents that run end-to-end workflows with human review, Disclosure Agents for IFRS and GAAP disclosure review, an Agent Builder, DocuMine and AI Extractions across unstructured documents. Adjacent products include UpLink, an AI-powered client document request portal, and a Financial Statement Suite covering math accuracy, prior-year consistency and tickmarks. The company states it is used by all top 100 accounting firms including all four Big Four, and reports over 600,000 active users across 175 countries. It was bootstrapped and profitable before taking outside investment.

In February 2024 it raised a $100M Series B led by Index Ventures with participation from existing investor Insight Partners at a $1 billion post-money valuation, making it the first Dutch unicorn since 2022. Vidya Peters was appointed CEO in June 2023; she is not a founder.
