chatlyn is a Vienna-based travel-tech startup building an AI communication hub for hotels and hospitality businesses. The platform consolidates guest conversations across WhatsApp, email, SMS, web chat and other channels, layering AI that can answer questions, handle bookings and automate operational workflows. chatlyn is expanding into agentic AI for phone support and an omnichannel AI booking assistant, aiming to be the 'AI brain' that connects fragmented hotel communication. Founded in late 2022 by Nicolas Vorsteher, Michael Urbanek and Matthias Haubner, chatlyn has scaled to serve over 1,000 properties across 30 countries, including luxury brands like St. Regis Mauritius and InterContinental properties. In June 2025 it raised an €8M Series A led by Smedvig Ventures to consolidate its DACH leadership and expand across Europe, APAC and the UAE.
