Blockit is an AI scheduling agent founded by Kais Khimji, who spent six years as a partner at Sequoia Capital before reviving an idea he first explored as a Harvard student. Rather than simply suggesting open slots, Blockit understands context, urgency, preferences, and constraints for every participant and actively negotiates meeting times. When two Blockit users need to meet, their respective AI agents communicate directly to settle on a time, bypassing the usual email ping-pong. The company launched in early 2026 with a $5M seed round led by Pat Grady at Sequoia, with participation from Haystack, Adjacent, Original, and former LinkedIn CEO Jeff Weiner. Blockit was already in use at more than 200 companies including Together.ai, Brex, and Rogo, as well as venture firms a16z, Accel, and Index — positioning it as an agent-to-agent scheduling layer for busy professionals.
