Bits Technology builds modern compliance infrastructure that lets regulated companies onboard customers, assess risk and remain compliant across markets through a single platform. The company unifies anti-money-laundering (AML), customer onboarding and fraud workflows that fintechs typically stitch together from many fragmented tools.

The platform is designed to deepen automation across the compliance lifecycle, helping regulated businesses enter new markets faster while reducing manual compliance work and maintaining regulatory confidence at scale. This is increasingly important as Europe moves toward unified AML regulation.

Founded in 2022 by former operators from Klarna, AWS and Tink, Bits is led by Jonatan Klintberg (CEO), Fredrik Eriksson (CCO) and Robin Lantz (CPO), combining fintech, cloud and compliance expertise.

Bits raised €12 million in Series A funding led by Alstin Capital, with participation from Cherry Ventures, Unusual Ventures and Alliance Ventures, plus angel investment from Haval van Drumpt, CEO of Tre Sweden. The round accelerates product development and European expansion.
