What Bidflow does

Bidflow is an AI takeoff tool for electrical work. It reads construction drawings and automatically counts the electrical devices on them, turning a manual counting process that can take hours into one the company says runs in under 10 minutes. Users can review and correct the AI's detections before exporting results.

Key capabilities

Bidflow detects power devices such as receptacles, outlets, junction boxes and disconnect switches; recognizes lighting fixtures by reading lighting schedules and designations; and identifies lighting controls including occupancy and vacancy sensors, dimmers, photocells and switches. The company states accuracy of roughly 95-99% depending on drawing complexity. The tool includes PDF navigation, a manual correction interface and CSV export, and uses a pay-per-device pricing model rather than a subscription.

Who it's for

Bidflow targets electrical contractors who bid on multiple projects and lighting distributors that need faster quote turnaround, helping them reduce office workload on device takeoffs.
