AI Hay is a Vietnamese AI-powered knowledge discovery and question-answering platform founded in 2021 by Chuong Nguyen, Duc Tran, and Hiep Nguyen, veterans of Vietnam's top consumer tech platforms. The app blends generative AI with social-networking features to make information and learning accessible to Vietnam's ~100 million population in their native language, addressing a gap in AI accessibility for non-English speakers. In July 2025, AI Hay closed a $10M Series A led by Argor Capital, with existing investors Square Peg, Northstar Ventures, AppWorks, and Phoenix Holdings participating, bringing total capital raised to over $18M. The company was also selected for the AWS Global Generative AI Accelerator. Funds are aimed at deepening its AI models and growing its consumer user base across Vietnam.
