What ActionPower Is
ActionPower is a Seoul-based AI company building lightweight, high-performance multimodal models that process voice, text, and image data through a single integrated pipeline. Its flagship product Daglo is one of South Korea's leading AI-powered transcription and meeting-workflow tools.
How It Works
Daglo transcribes meetings in 16 languages and layers on AI-generated summaries, slide creation, and quiz generation. The platform is designed for Korean enterprise workflows but extends to global B2B use cases. Through 2025 ActionPower processed more than 13 million hours of voice across its models.
Founders and Team
ActionPower was co-founded in 2016 by Jihwa Lee, formerly an engineer at Stanford Research Institute, and Hongsik Jo, a former Macquarie Securities analyst. The team combines deep ML research with financial-services product discipline.
Funding and Traction
In March 2026 ActionPower closed a $4.1 million (KRW 6B) Series B led by Hana Ventures, with participation from We Ventures, Tony Investment, and Korea Development Bank. The round brought total funding above $13.7 million. Daglo has more than 1.5 million subscribers, nearly 4x year-over-year revenue growth, and 40% B2B growth.
Differentiators
ActionPower competes against horizontal Western transcription tools by being Korea-native — tuned for Korean language and enterprise workflows — while still supporting 16 languages. New capital is being used to build industry-specific AI agent solutions and expand global B2B distribution.
