80 Acres Farms is a US vertical farming leader producing leafy greens, tomatoes, herbs, and other fresh produce in fully controlled indoor environments. Its farming systems, powered by subsidiary Infinite Acres, integrate advanced LED lighting, proprietary airflow and water controls, data analytics, robotics, and automation to optimize growth while using a fraction of the land and water of conventional agriculture. AI and machine learning drive environmental control and yield prediction across its grow systems. Headquartered in Hamilton, Ohio, the company supplies grocery retailers across multiple states and is expanding through acquisitions and plant-genetics research. In February 2025 it announced $115 million in new funding led by General Atlantic, bringing total funding past $370 million, alongside the acquisition of Israeli plant-biotech firm Plantae Biosciences.
