Lourdes Agapito is a Professor of 3D Vision at University College London and co-founded Synthesia in 2017 alongside Victor Riparbelli, Matthias Niessner, and Steffen Tjerrild. Her UCL research group focuses on inferring 3D structure from monocular video, work that underpins Synthesia's AI video synthesis. She is widely recognized as a leading academic in computer vision.

Lucy Guo co-founded Scale AI in 2016, where she led operations and product design before leaving in 2018, retaining a roughly 5% stake. After Meta's 2025 transaction valuing Scale above $29B she became one of the youngest self-made female billionaires. In 2022 she founded Passes, a creator-subscription platform that has raised over $65M. She also runs Backend Capital, an early-stage fund she started in 2019 to back engineering-led startups.

Malte Pietsch is co-founder and CTO of Berlin-based deepset, the enterprise LLM platform he started in 2018 with Milos Rusic and Timo Moeller. He is the creator of the open-source NLP frameworks FARM and Haystack and published the German BERT model. He holds an MSc with honors from TU Munich and conducted research at Carnegie Mellon University.

Marc Minor is co-founder and CEO of Higharc, a cloud platform for the residential homebuilding industry he started in 2018. He previously held marketing leadership roles at 3D printing companies Carbon and Desktop Metal, and earlier worked at Apple. He holds a BA from New York University and a master's from the Harvard Graduate School of Design.

Marco Pistoia is CEO of IonQ Italia and Global Head of Special Projects at IonQ, which he joined in July 2025 as SVP of Industry Relations. He previously was Distinguished Engineer and Global Head of Applied Research and Quantum Computing at JPMorgan Chase, and earlier spent two decades at IBM Research. He holds a PhD in mathematics from New York University and holds over 600 patents.

Mark Chen is Chief Research Officer at OpenAI, elevated to the role in March 2025. He co-leads research alongside Chief Scientist Jakub Pachocki, focusing on integrating research with product. Chen has been at OpenAI since 2018 and was an architect of DALL-E, Codex, and the o1 reasoning models. He holds a BS in mathematics and computer science from Caltech and a PhD in computer science from NYU, and previously worked as a quantitative trader at Jane Street. He also coaches the USA International Olympiad in Informatics team.

Mark Groden is founder and CEO of Skyryse, the aviation automation company he launched in 2016 to bring fly-by-wire safety technology to general aviation aircraft. He holds a PhD in sensor data fusion from the University of Michigan and over 60 patents related to aerial vehicle automation and safety. At 16 he worked at a US Air Force lab at Case Western, building one of the first micro fixed-wing VTOL UAVs.

Martin Roetteler leads IonQ's Quantum Applications team, focused on commercial applications across chemistry, materials science, optimization, and quantum machine learning. He joined IonQ in March 2024 from Microsoft, where he led the Applied Research and Quantum Exploration teams researching quantum algorithms, compilation, and circuit synthesis. He has more than two decades of experience in quantum computing research.

Matei Zaharia is co-founder and CTO of Databricks and an associate professor of EECS at UC Berkeley. He created Apache Spark during his PhD at UC Berkeley's AMPLab starting in 2009 and has contributed to Delta Lake, MLflow, Dolly, and ColBERT. He previously held faculty positions at MIT and Stanford. He received the 2014 ACM Doctoral Dissertation Award for his research on large-scale computing and continues to lead Databricks' research direction in data and AI systems.

Mathias Lechner is co-founder and CTO of Liquid AI and a research affiliate at MIT CSAIL, working with Daniela Rus. He earned his PhD in 2022 from the Institute of Science and Technology Austria under Tom Henzinger, after master's and bachelor's degrees from TU Wien. His research on Liquid neural networks, conducted with Ramin Hasani, has been published in Nature Machine Intelligence.

Matt Price is co-founder and CEO of Crescendo, an AI-powered customer service company launched at General Catalyst with Anand Chandrasekaran. Matthias Niessner is a German computer scientist and co-founder of Synthesia, where he serves as chief scientist. Since 2017 he has been a professor at the Technical University of Munich, heading the Visual Computing Lab, after a visiting assistant professorship at Stanford. He holds a PhD in computer graphics from the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg and has received the ERC Starting Grant and Eurographics Young Researcher Award.

May Habib is co-founder and CEO of Writer, the enterprise generative AI platform. She previously co-founded Qordoba, a multilingual content technology company, in 2015. Habib graduated from Harvard in 2007 and earlier worked at Lehman Brothers, Barclays Capital, and Abu Dhabi sovereign wealth fund Mubadala before turning to entrepreneurship.

Meenesh Bhimani is co-founder and Chief Medical Officer of Hippocratic AI, a healthcare LLM startup launched in 2023. He is an emergency physician with over 20 years of hospital executive experience, most recently as COO of El Camino Health in Mountain View, California. He holds an MD from Johns Hopkins School of Medicine and a master's in health care administration from Cornell.

Michael Balaban is co-founder of Lambda, the AI cloud infrastructure company he started in 2012 with his brother Stephen Balaban. He served as CTO and is now transitioning to Chief Product Officer. Before joining Lambda full-time in 2015, he was a software engineer at Nextdoor working on infrastructure and the ad server. He holds a double major in discrete mathematics and computer science from the University of Michigan.

Michael Intrator is co-founder, Chairman, and CEO of CoreWeave, which he has led since 2017. CoreWeave originated as Atlantic Crypto, an Ethereum mining operation, before pivoting in 2019 to GPU cloud infrastructure for AI workloads. Prior to CoreWeave he co-founded and led Hudson Ridge Asset Management, a systematic natural gas hedge fund. He holds a degree from Binghamton University and a master's from Columbia SIPA. He led CoreWeave through its March 2025 IPO.

Michael Kopko is co-founder and CEO of Pearl Health, a value-based primary care technology company. He was an early employee and Vice President at Oscar Health for seven years, where he built the sales and network functions and helped take the company public. He holds an AB from Harvard College and an MBA from Columbia Business School, and was named a 2024 Presidential Leadership Scholar.

Mihir Bhaskar is SVP of Global R&D at IonQ, joining after IonQ acquired Lightsynq, the Boston quantum interconnect startup he co-founded and led as CEO. Earlier he launched and ran the Amazon Web Services Center for Quantum Networking from 2021 to 2024. He earned his PhD at Harvard, where his thesis on diamond nanophotonic quantum memories led to the first demonstration of memory-enhanced quantum networking.

Mikey Shulman

Mikey Shulman is co-founder and CEO of Suno, an AI music-generation company. He holds a PhD in physics from Harvard, where he worked on quantum computing and solid-state physics, and previously worked on applied machine learning before co-founding Suno in 2022. The platform lets users generate songs from natural-language prompts. As of February 2026, Suno reported 2 million paid subscribers and $300 million in annual recurring revenue, and Shulman has publicly emphasized building partnerships with the music industry rather than working against it.

Milos Rusic is co-founder and CEO of deepset, the Berlin-based enterprise NLP and LLM platform he launched in 2018 with Malte Pietsch and Timo Moeller. Before deepset he led go-to-market and business development at industrial AI company Konux. He studied at TU Munich, the Center for Digital Technology and Management, and UC Berkeley.

Misha Laskin is co-founder and CEO of Reflection AI, a startup building autonomous coding agents that has raised over $2 billion. Trained in theoretical physics at Yale and the University of Chicago, he co-founded Reflection with former DeepMind colleague Ioannis Antonoglou.
