Runbo Li

Runbo Li is the co-founder and CEO of Magic Hour, the San Francisco company behind a browser-based suite of generative AI tools for video and image creation. He started the company in 2023 with David Hu, a childhood friend, and took it through Y Combinator's Winter 2024 batch. Before Magic Hour, Li was a senior data scientist at Meta, where he worked on 0-to-1 consumer social products inside the company's New Product Experimentation group. He writes about AI video generation, image creation, creative workflows and creator tools on the Magic Hour blog.
