David Hu

David Hu is the co-founder and CTO of Magic Hour, the San Francisco company behind a browser-based suite of generative AI tools for video and image creation. He started it in 2023 with Runbo Li, a childhood friend, and went through Y Combinator's Winter 2024 batch. Before Magic Hour he was a full-stack engineer at Skillz, where he led several product development teams from the company's Series B through its IPO and worked across the stack, from user-facing interfaces down to infrastructure.
