Mihir Bhaskar

Mihir Bhaskar is SVP of Global R&D at IonQ, joining after IonQ acquired Lightsynq, the Boston quantum interconnect startup he co-founded and led as CEO. Earlier he launched and ran the Amazon Web Services Center for Quantum Networking from 2021 to 2024. He earned his PhD at Harvard, where his thesis on diamond nanophotonic quantum memories led to the first demonstration of memory-enhanced quantum networking.
