Martin Roetteler

Martin Roetteler leads IonQ's Quantum Applications team, focused on commercial applications across chemistry, materials science, optimization, and quantum machine learning. He joined IonQ in March 2024 from Microsoft, where he led the Applied Research and Quantum Exploration teams researching quantum algorithms, compilation, and circuit synthesis. He has more than two decades of experience in quantum computing research.
