Guillaume Lample

Guillaume Lample is co-founder and Chief Scientist of Mistral AI, which he started in 2023 with Arthur Mensch and Timothée Lacroix. Before Mistral he was a research scientist at Meta AI's FAIR Paris lab, where he was a senior author on the February 2023 LLaMA paper and contributed to XLM-RoBERTa, unsupervised machine translation, and symbolic mathematics research. He studied at the École Polytechnique, Carnegie Mellon, and Pierre & Marie Curie University.
