John Parkes is co-founder and Chief Strategy Officer of Skydweller Aero, the US-Spanish solar-powered aircraft company he launched in 2017 with Robert Miller. He also co-founded defense technology firm Parry Labs in 2015. Earlier he led airborne missions at the US Department of Defense's Office of Strategic Capabilities and worked in M&A at United Technologies. He holds a BS in image science from the Rochester Institute of Technology.
