Brian McClendon

Brian McClendon was a co-founder of Keyhole, the mapping startup that became Google Earth after Google's 2004 acquisition; he then led Google's Geo division, including Maps, Street View, and Earth, for over a decade. He later served as VP of Maps at Uber and joined Niantic Spatial as CTO in 2025; he is a member of the National Academy of Engineering.
