Alphabet is the Mountain View-based holding company of Google, formed in 2015, and a major strategic AI investor through both balance-sheet investments and Google Cloud commercial arrangements. The company announced an investment of up to $40 billion in Anthropic at a $350 billion valuation, alongside provision of up to 5 GW of TPU compute capacity. Notable AI exposure includes Anthropic and Isomorphic Labs.
